Position Type: Full-Time
Work Location: This is a remote position (see on-site requirements below).

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Lexington Park, MD for candidates that are local to the area. Candidates out of state will be onboarded virtually. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however for local candidates, training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Ideate, design, develop and maintain Oracle databases, applications, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Oracle databases and applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and resolve database connection and performance issues.
• Occasional daily/evening/weekend support
• Supports Development teams as needed.
• Mentoring other DBAs as needed.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Qualifications and Experience:


Required:

• Proficient with Oracle.
• Familiar with Unix/Linux.
• Experience working with Oracle scripting, data management, and application development.
• Experience writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers.
• Proficiency in Oracle tools and technologies, including SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
• Comp TIA Security+ CE certification.
• Operating system training certificate of completion for the UNIX operating system.
• Operating system training certificate of completion for the Windows operating system.

Desired:

• Experience with Informatica.
• Experience with Qlik.

Security Clearance:
Active Secret clearance required and must be eligible for Top Secret Clearance (SSBI). Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BA/BS degree and 10 years related experience required.
